The Stones Speak
A castle that was not only built, but fully composed.
Sculptor and architect Jeno Bory built the castle over forty summers from his own plans, imagination and persistent manual work.
Bory Castle is family home, studio, memorial and sculptural composition at the same time: a layered world of towers, arcades, stairs and gardens.
Today the site welcomes visitors as a private museum in Szekesfehervar, presenting the works and stories of Jeno Bory and Ilona Komocsin, including the Chapel of Marital Love.
